Job Overview
We are seeking two (2) dedicated and detail-oriented Custodians to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to custodial duties, with a focus on both residential and commercial spaces.
Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to maintain cleanliness in assigned areas.
- Conduct floor care activities such as buffing and polishing to ensure surfaces are well-maintained.
- Assist with industrial cleaning tasks as needed, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Carry out custodial duties in both residential and commercial settings, adapting techniques as required for different environments.
- Maintain facilities by performing minor maintenance tasks and reporting any significant issues to management.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are properly stored and maintained.
- Follow established procedures for cleaning and sanitizing to promote health and safety within the facility.
Skills
- Proven experience in custodial or facilities maintenance roles is preferred.
- Knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques and equipment operation.
- Familiarity with floor care methods including buffing and polishing is a plus.
- Ability to perform basic residential painting tasks as needed.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Excellent time management skills, capable of prioritizing tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.

Job Summary:
The Manager of Information Systems is responsible for the architecture, implementation, security, and maintenance of IT infrastructure within the local government. This role ensures robust network performance, cybersecurity enforcement, and efficient system operations across all county departments. The candidate must possess advanced technical expertise and a minimum of five (5) years of IT management experience in a high-security environment and must be able to pass an FBI background check.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Network Engineering & Security:
- Design, deploy, and maintain Cisco switches, Cisco ASA/Firepower firewalls, VLAN segmentation, and Layer 3 routing.
- Configure and manage CloudFlare Proxy Server for web security and DDoS mitigation.
- Implement and enforce multifactor authentication, FIPS-compliant VPN solutions, and SSL/TLS certificate management.
- Deploy and monitor Intrusion Protection Systems (IPS), Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR), and Zero Trust security models.
- Perform network traffic analysis, firewall rule optimization, and security patching.
- System Administration & Identity Management:
- Administer Microsoft Active Directory, enforcing Group Policy Objects (GPOs) and domain security policies.
- Maintain and secure DHCP, DNS, and SQL database infrastructure.
- Automate system administration tasks via PowerShell and Batch scripting.
- Manage Trend Micro Endpoint and Email Security solutions, ensuring compliance with cybersecurity frameworks.
- Oversee Veritas Backup Solutions for disaster recovery and high-availability planning.
- Infrastructure & Enterprise Services:
- Configure and maintain VoIP systems, remote access solutions, and secure wireless P2P network links.
- Oversee the deployment, maintenance, and monitoring of security camera systems, document imaging solutions, and web paging systems.
- Optimize server virtualization, patching, and performance tuning strategies.
- Ensure high availability of court management software, 911 dispatch/CAD systems, and law enforcement software.
- Compliance, Risk Management & Project Execution:
- Develop, document, and enforce cybersecurity policies, risk assessments, and disaster recovery procedures.
- Manage IT-related grant writing and funding proposals.
- Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local IT regulations, including CJIS, NIST, and FIPS compliance.
- Lead IT infrastructure projects from initiation to completion, including budgeting, procurement, and vendor management.
- Personnel & Operations Management:
- Supervise IT personnel, including hiring, training, mentoring, and performance evaluation.
- Monitor daily IT operations, troubleshooting network and system issues as needed.
- Develop and oversee the IT department’s annual budget, ensuring cost-effective technology investments.
- Provide 24/7 on-call support for critical infrastructure failures and security incidents.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in IT infrastructure management, cybersecurity, and system administration.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco networking, firewall security, Active Directory, and enterprise-grade cybersecurity solutions.
Technical Skills:
- Advanced knowledge of Cisco networking (switching, routing, firewalls, VLANs, BGP, OSPF, STP).
- Expertise in security architectures, IPS, FIPS VPN, SSL/TLS certificates, and endpoint security solutions.
- Strong proficiency in Windows Server environments, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and GPO management.
- Scripting experience in PowerShell and Batch for automation and system administration.
- Deep understanding of SQL database management, backup strategies, and high-availability configurations.
- Experience configuring and maintaining VoIP, remote access, wireless P2P, and surveillance systems.
- Familiarity with IT compliance frameworks (CJIS, NIST, FIPS) and cybersecurity best practices.

Position Summary
Gallia County is seeking an experienced and motivated EMS Director to serve as the Chief Executive Officer of the county’s Ambulance Service. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing the entire Emergency Medical Services (EMS) system within the county. The EMS Director ensures compliance with Ohio EMS regulations, manages resources and personnel, and provides medical direction through the development and enforcement of treatment protocols.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
The EMS Director oversees all aspects of Gallia County’s ambulance services, including but not limited to:

Leadership & Oversight

Serve as the liaison between EMS staff and the County Administrator.

Carry out directives from the Gallia County Board of Commissioners.

Supervise, evaluate, and discipline EMS personnel (EMTs, Paramedics).

Assess staffing needs to ensure 24/7 ambulance coverage.

Participate in labor negotiations every three years.

Training & Education

Coordinate continuing education programs for EMS providers.

Ensure all personnel stay current on medical practices and certifications.

Develop and implement programs to improve EMS services.
