Are the vehicles handicap accessible? |
| Yes, all vehicles are fully accessible and designed to accommodate riders of all mobility levels, and all drivers are trained to assist with mobility aids. The driver will secure all wheelchairs and help secure packages and assist with seatbelts if needed. Gallia County Transit is a door-to-door pickup service. The driver may assist you to and from the door when boarding or leaving the vehicle but is not permitted to enter a residence or building. Drivers are not required to assist with transporting items from the vehicle to the residence or building. An escort or personal care attendant may accompany you. |

How do I schedule a ride? |
| To schedule a ride, call us at 740-209-2990 between the hours of 8am and 4pm. or give your email to our scheduler to sign up for our trip portal. The trip portal allows riders to request and cancel rides and check on your driver arrival time. Please call at least 24 hours in advance, as trips are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Next-day and same-day trips can be scheduled, if available. Trips cannot be scheduled by telling a driver. Passengers may be asked for the following information when scheduling trips: Name, home address, telephone number, pick-up/drop-off addresses, desired arrival or drop-off time, social security for medical trips, and if any special accommodations are needed. |

When will you pick me up? |
| Gallia County Transit has a 30-minute pick-up window. This means the vehicle can arrive between 15 minutes before and 15 minutes after your scheduled pick-up time. If there is no response within 5 minutes of our vehicle arriving at your location, you will be considered a No Show. |

What can I use it for? |
| This service is available to all riders for any reason. It can be used for errands, commuting to and from work, medical appointments, or visiting friends or family. For trips outside Gallia County, we partner with transit services in neighboring counties; please call for more details! |

| Gallia County Transit operates Monday – Friday from 8am – 4pm. |

How do I cancel a ride? |
| To cancel a ride, call us at 740-209-2990 at least 24 hours before your scheduled trip. If the vehicle arrives to pick you up and the driver can’t contact you, or you have failed to cancel your trip at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled pickup time, you will be considered a No Show. Due to the cost and inconvenience this causes, GCT reserves the right to deny trips in accordance with the no-show policy. If you are recorded as a No Show for 25% or more of your scheduled rides within a calendar year, your service may be suspended. You can appeal your suspension by calling Gallia County Transit at 740-209-2990 and asking to speak to the Transportation Administrator. |

Are pets allowed? |
| Pets are not allowed on Gallia County Transit. Certified service animals are welcome. The animal must always be under the rider’s control. |
